How often should we exercise? Current U.S. guidelines recommend that adults exercise moderately 150 minutes per week (or vigorously 75 minutes per week) over two or more days. Children and teens should "be active" three or more days a week for an hour a day. Yoga is exercise. Hatha flow yoga (vinyasa) addresses all five areas of physical fitness, including muscular strength, muscular endurance, cardiovascular endurance, flexibility and body composition. Tamara teaches weekly yoga classes in Coral Springs, Florida. Private yoga lessons are available by request.
