Yoga Experience & Education:
- In 2000, Tamara discovered
Hatha Yoga in a prenatal yoga class. She continued to practice regularly, exploring Hatha Yoga, Hatha Flow Yoga, Power Flow Yoga and Pilates.
- In 2006, Tamara became interested in teaching. She enrolled in the YogaFit teacher training program. Through YogaFit, Tamara is working towards a Yoga Alliance
200-Hour RYT certification.
Tamara Currently Teaches:
- Hatha and Hatha Flow Yoga at the Yoga Source in Coral Springs (since January 2008)
- Hatha Flow Yoga at JCC Coral Springs / Heron Lakes (since January 2007)
- Outdoor Hatha Flow Yoga (seasonally since 2006)
- Private Kid Yoga Classes in a Broward County Elementary School (since fall 2007)
- Private Adult Yoga Lessons (since 2007)
Tamara Previously Taught:
- Kid Yoga for Preschoolers at JCC Coral Springs / Riverside (Two 9-week sessions in 2006-2007)
- Family Hatha Flow Yoga workshops for children and parents at the Yoga Source and outdoors.
From 2001 - 2006,
Tamara attended aerobics, sculpting and Pilates classes with her children. She soon became a substitute instructor. She also helped produce and co-starred in the "Mom & Tot
Workout" video which is available
online and in stores nationwide.
