What is Yoga?
Yoga is union of mind, body and spirit. It is not a religion. It is a way of life. There are four paths to Yoga. In our yoga classes, we practice physical postures, breath control and meditation to improve our physical fitness and calm our minds. For those who seek a deeper practice, yoga can be more.
The Four Paths to Yoga
- Raja Yoga - Postures, breath control, meditation
- Karma Yoga - Honesty, selfless action, service
- Bhakti Yoga - Devotion, faith to God or spirit
